Until My Hearts, like Finished' has won an honerable mention at Encounters Film Festival in Bristol and Best Film at Cinemagic Belfast. Both these awards are something for us to be really proud of, and we are. See the film here.

Worm Tango wins at Chicago Film Fest

Our film 'Can You Teach A Worm to Tango' has won the Kenneth and Harle Montgomery Award at the Chicago International Film Childrens Festival. See the film here.

The Youth Voices Award for 'Until my heart's, like, finished'

The best animation award for 'Can you teach a worm to tango?'

The Digital Documenters Award for the Exeter Digital Documenters and

Best Drama for the Apothacary.

We are very proud of all the young people we worked with and of Somerset Film and Phoenix Digital who supported us. Thanks a million.

'Were OK aren't we?' has been selected for the 7th London Short Film Festival. In the Leftfield and Lusious Programe. Which it fits the bill for perfectly. Watch out!

My new film following four friends on a night out drinking.

Powerful and moving it is a story about being young, screwing up and trying to do the right thing.

One Week Later

One Week Later has just won the First Light Award for Best Drama.

The Award was presentd by Danny Boyle. I am really proud of the film, the award and the young people who worked on it.

The film has also just come second in the Shortie Awards held in the USA.

Downing Street

23 pieces was part of a reception in downing street to celebrate the work of First Light in making films with young people. The film went on to win a best screenplay award. It was produced by PVA MediaLab.
