Our Day – Music Project

My Pockets worked with 50 young people in Hull to create 9 songs describing one day in their lives.

We worked with young people who are British, Polish, Congolese, Syrian, Afgani, primary school kids, secondary school kids, teenagers who have been excluded from mainstream education and young people facing many challenges in life.

This diverse crowd supported each other with cheers, applause, foot stamping, whistles and hollering as each of them performed their songs at the live performance of the project.  Their music bought them together.
