We worked with a group of young people who are New Travelers. These young people lead lives that are hidden from most of us. They know how to survive, are exposed to the elements and fiercely independent and proud of their life style.

The shoot wasn't always easy and when the sound of monkeys drifted on the wind from 'Monkey World' nearby I wondered if I was starting to loose it. But in the end we won each other’s respect and affection and created a film that is honest, undiluted and challenging.
