We are not what they say we are

This film was created with young Gypsy Travelers.

The teenagers wanted to make a film that expressed how they felt they were treated by non-travellers but that also did not shy away from being critcal of thier own culture.

We worked hard on the script and the shoot was delayed due to an injured horse. But we got there.

Over the period of making the film I grew to really like the travlers I met and to see that often the way they are percieved and treated is very unfair.

We all hope this film will open people eyes a little bit.
